In an interview with the Spanish news agency EFE, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, praised the excellent bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fight against terrorism, the control of irregular immigration, economic exchanges and investments.
Spain is Morocco’s leading economic partner. Cooperation in the security field is exemplary, cooperation on emigration is effective, he noted, pointing out that this is a model of relations between the two shores of the Mediterranean, made possible thanks to the commitment of King Mohammed VI and the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez.
Nasser Bourita also welcomed the success of the 13th Moroccan-Spanish High-Level Meeting, both in terms of quality and content, with the signing of 14 new agreements and the identification of new areas of sectoral cooperation.
