ERDOĞAN: EFFORTS TO REACH THE WRECKAGE CONTINUE
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said,"We learned with deep sorrow that our C130 type military aircraft, which was on its way to our country from Azerbaijan, crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border."
In his speech at the Urbanism Summit themed "City and Space in Our Civilization" at the AK Party Congress Center, President Erdoğan made the following statements regarding the military cargo plane that crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border:
"Today, we learned with deep sorrow that our C130 military aircraft, en route from Azerbaijan to our country, crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. Our efforts to recover the wreckage continue in coordination with the relevant authorities. Hopefully, we will emerge from this accident with minimal disruption. May God have mercy on our martyrs, and may we be with them in our prayers."

MSB: SEARCH EFFORTS HAVE STARTED
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced the crash of a Turkish cargo plane. The statement, released on the ministry's social media account, said,"A C130 cargo plane taking off from Azerbaijan to our country crashed in Georgia. Search and rescue efforts have been initiated in coordination with Georgian authorities."

STATEMENT FROM GEORGIA
The Georgian Ministry of Interior announced in a statement that a Turkish Air Force C-130 cargo plane, which took off from the city of Ganja in Azerbaijan, crashed approximately 5 kilometers from the municipality of Shınnaghi in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia. The statement said,"The investigation into the incident is being conducted under Article 275, Paragraph 4, of the Georgian Criminal Code. This article covers cases of human death resulting from violations of air transportation safety or operational regulations. Detailed information about the incident will be gradually made available to the public by the Ministry of Interior." No statement was made regarding the number of casualties.

MINISTER YERLİKAYA: I LEARNED WITH DEEP SADNESS
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya released a statement regarding the plane crash. The statement read,"I learned with deep sorrow that our Ministry of National Defense C130 military cargo plane, en route to our country from Azerbaijan, crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing. I spoke with Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze by phone. The Minister is also on his way to the scene. I offer my best wishes to our esteemed nation."
