As he said during a joint press conference with the President of Finland Alexander Stub,"security guarantees can be introduced after the end of the war, although something could probably be done before that," Ukrinform reported.
"In my opinion, the Victory Plan is to stop Russia now and prevent it from repeating its aggression. Today, our security guarantees are based on principles - a strong Ukrainian army, the presence of European colleagues, American ' backstop ', sanctions and reconstruction. The plan I came up with had a similar model, but it was based on what needs to be done now, without waiting for the end of the war, and then the Russians will end this war," said Zelensky.
According to him, the Victory Plan envisaged membership in the EU, and in addition, Ukraine aspired to membership in NATO. Zelensky also said that he and Stub today discussed work in the"Coalition of the Willing".
"We already understand the architecture of security guarantees. We understand which steps can work," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
