In Germany, a man attacked passengers on a train from Hamburg to Vienna with an unknown object. According to initial information from local police, he injured four people. The perpetrator was stopped by passengers before police arrived, reports the German news agency dpa.

The attack occurred as the train carrying around 500 passengers passed Strasskirchen, southeast of the city of Regensburg in Bavaria.
