“Anutin Charnvirakul” has received the royal command to appoint him as the 32nd Prime Minister, determined to perform his duties with honesty and integrity, with his family, the Bhumjaithai Party and the coalition government parties attending the ceremony.
At 11:30 a.m. on September 7, 2025, Police Lieutenant Colonel Aphat Sukhanan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, invited the royal command to appoint Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as the 32nd Prime Minister . He arrived at the Bhumjaithai Party office on Phahon Yothin Road, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, and was invited to the location to receive the royal command. The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives then read the royal command to appoint the 32nd Prime Minister, which read as follows:
His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has issued a Royal Command to announce that the ministerial status of Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has ended in accordance with Section 170, paragraph one (4), in conjunction with Section 160 (4) (5) of the Constitution. The Speaker of the House of Representatives has submitted the matter to His Majesty the King for royal graciousness that the House of Representatives voted on 5 September 2025 to approve the appointment of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister with a vote of more than half of the total number of members of the House of Representatives.
In accordance with the powers under Section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty the King has graciously appointed Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister.
From now on, announced on 7 September 2025, the 10th year of the present reign.

I, the King, swear that I will be determined to carry out my duties to the best of my ability, with honesty and integrity, in keeping with the trust placed in me by His Majesty for the well-being of the Thai people and the prosperity of the nation, in accordance with the royal aspirations and intentions of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand in every respect. With all due respect.
At the Bhumjaithai Party, Mr. Anutin's family, members of the House of Representatives, party members, and other parties that will form a government, led by the Bhumjaithai Party, were present at the ceremony to receive the royal command. Following this, the cabinet, or Anutin Cabinet 1, will be formed and the next steps will be taken.
