At least one of the munitions was found in central Israel, according to the army. The army warned that dozens of such munitions, which could explode if touched, may be scattered over a wide area.
Israeli army Brigadier General Effie Defrin said that Iran has fired more than 450 ballistic missiles and launched about 1,000 drones at Israel since Friday. Most of the drones were launched from Iranian territory, but others were launched by Iranian-backed militant groups in the region.
Defrin said that Israel had destroyed about two-thirds of Iran's missile launch sites, but warned that Iran still had about 100 missile launchers, according to Israeli estimates. Defrin confirmed that Israel was also attacking Iran's ballistic missile production facilities.
