MHP leader Bahçeli stated the following in his message: Our country, on the one hand, and the surrounding regions, on the other, are gradually progressing and transitioning to a brand new and hopeful era. Turkey is on the verge of salvation from the scourge of separatist terrorism, whose past has been riveted by violence and brutality that has been approaching half a century. In accordance with and in support of the"Call for Peace and a Democratic Society" that came to the fore with the February 27 İmralı statement, the separatist terrorist organization PKK convened its 12th congress on May 5-7, 2025, declaring that it had dissolved its organizational existence and laid down its arms.

Indeed, as can be seen from its latest video message, the PKK's founding leadership kept its word, stood by its commitment, and foresaw global and regional threats in a timely manner. Furthermore, the DEM Party maintained a sensible and responsible political stance, sincerely adhering to the goal of a terror-free Turkey, and standing alongside the millennium-old brotherhood with balanced and accurate statements and assessments.

Our President and his government, who embraced the"Terror-Free Turkey" commitment that has become a state policy from the outset and made every effort to ensure this process was fully embraced. The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance unwaveringly maintained their political acumen and resistance to struggle without succumbing to any provocation or subversive indoctrination.

The goal of a terror-free Turkey has progressed with solid and healthy initiatives. Effective today, the separatist terrorist organization has begun surrendering its weapons in groups, while at the same time, historic developments have begun to mark the end of a dark era. Political and ideological circles, who have engaged in exploitation, slander, and denial to maintain an atmosphere of provocation, have been disappointed by the flourishing hopes and expanding climate of peace and tranquility.

Indeed, these are exceptionally important days for both Turkey and our region. These positive and heartwarming developments are a turning point, and in this context, the collective conscience rejoices. A terror-free Turkey is the path to a future filled with prosperity, security, and peace.

A terror-free Turkey is the absolute and enduring force of national unity and solidarity. With the completion of the arms surrender process within the specified timeframe, bad memories will be left behind, and the Turkish nation will be the architect and axis of the new century.

I express my gratitude to everyone, especially our President, who has contributed, acted, and supported the goal of achieving a"Türkiye Without Terrorism," and I pray to God that this new era will be beneficial for our noble nation.
