BBC: Prince Andrew loses his princely title

A statement from Buckingham Palace said:"His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the styles, titles and honours from Prince Andrew. He will now go by the name Andrew Mountbatten Windsor."

Prince Andrew must also leave his residence Royal Lodge, where he lives with his ex-wife.

Formal notice has now been given that the lease will end, and he will move to another private residence. These measures are considered necessary, despite the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him, it is further written.
