Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli army carried out airstrikes on the Rafah area in southern Gaza, according to Israeli state television channel KAN.

The Israeli army claimed that Hamas opened fire on Israeli"engineering elements" in the area.

Following the incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz will reportedly assess the situation with Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir and the staff.

"WAR" CALL FROM ZIONIST MINISTERS

Israeli National Security Minister, the far-right Itamar Ben-Gvir, called on the Prime Minister to"order the army to fully resume the war in Gaza with maximum force" in a post on the social media platform X.

Ben-Gvir claimed that Hamas had violated the agreement and was"a danger to Israel's security."

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich shared a single-word post containing the word "war" on his account on the X social media platform.

Similarly, Avigdor Liberman, leader of the opposition Israel's Home Party, claimed in a post on the X social media platform that Hamas had violated the ceasefire and argued that it should be responded to with"force and an iron wall."

HAMAS: WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE CEASE-FIRE

On the other hand, Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishk emphasized in a written statement that Israel is constantly violating the ceasefire agreement and making excuses to legitimize its own crimes.

Rishk stated that Netanyahu's efforts to evade his obligations were made under pressure from the far-right coalition and described these attempts as Israel's attempt to evade its responsibilities before the mediators and guarantors.

Hamas' armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, also announced that they are fully committed to all agreements, especially the ceasefire.

In a written statement, the Qassam Brigades stated that they fully committed to fully implementing every article agreed upon in the agreement, especially the ceasefire to be established in all areas of Gaza.

"We are not aware of any incidents or clashes in the Rafah region in the south of the Gaza Strip. These areas are defined as 'red zones' under the control of the occupation forces," the statement said.

The statement included the following statements:

"Since the war resumed in March of this year, contact with our remaining groups has been cut off. Since then, we have received no information as to whether they are alive or not.

"Therefore, we have no involvement in any incidents taking place in these regions. Even if there is anyone still alive, we cannot communicate with our mujahideen there."
