According to TASS, Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said that President Putin and Chairman Kim will attend the military parade and banquet commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory Day at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China on the 3rd.
He added that he assumed that President Putin and Chairman Kim would continue to talk after that.
Earlier, aide Ushakov had revealed that at China's Victory Day parade, President Putin would sit to the right of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Chairman Kim would sit to the left.
President Putin arrived in Tianjin, China on the 31st of last month, attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit for two days, and then arrived in Beijing on the same day to hold a summit meeting with President Xi.
Chairman Kim left North Korea by train the previous day and arrived in Beijing that afternoon.
Summits between President Putin and Chairman Kim were held in Vladivostok, Russia, in April 2019, at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia, in September 2023, and in Pyongyang, North Korea, in June 2024.
