Ceasefire Violations and Continued Attacks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has denied in recent hours the existence of an agreed ceasefire with Israel, as announced by US President Donald Trump, and declared that the Iranian authorities will make a decision in this regard"later." "So far, there is no"agreement" on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, as long as the Israeli regime ceases its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4:00 a.m. (local time, 3:00 a.m. Spanish peninsular time), we have no intention of continuing our response after that," he announced on his account on the social network X, where he pointed out that"the final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later." Later, on the same platform, he confirmed that the military operations"to punish Israel for its aggression" have ended at the scheduled time, and he thanked the Iranian Armed Forces"who responded to any attack by the enemy until the last minute."

Likewise, the Iranian top diplomat took the opportunity to reiterate that"Israel launched the war against Iran, not the other way around," after Israel launched a wave of attacks against nuclear targets in the Central Asian country on June 13.

Araqchi thus denied the White House resident's words about a"complete and total" ceasefire agreement reached by the authorities of both countries that would end what he called "The Twelve-Day War."

"It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire (in approximately six hours from now, when Israel and Iran have withdrawn and completed their final ongoing missions), for twelve hours, at which time the war will be considered over!" he declared on his Truth Social platform, before congratulating the two countries.

The US president has arrived to ensure that Iran"will begin" the truce, followed by Israel"at the 12th hour," while "at the 24th hour, the world will greet the official end of the twelve-day war." "During each ceasefire, the other side will remain in peace and respect," he added.
