He said at a cabinet meeting in the White House that a"historic success" was achieved last night in the Middle East.

- We ended the war in Gaza and actually, on a much larger scale, created peace. I think it will be a lasting peace, I hope eternal peace - said Trump.

The hostages will be released early next week

He added that the remaining hostages should be released"on Monday or Tuesday."

- Their return is a complicated process, they are in places where you don't want to be - he said.

I think the attack on Iran in June was very important because if it hadn't happened, we probably would have had nuclear weapons by now, multiple, and even if we had signed the deal, there would have been a big dark cloud hanging over it.
