US Response and Trump's Role

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to Israel's attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The ministry's statement read,"We condemn Israel's attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This is clear evidence of Israel's expansionist policies in the region and its adoption of terrorism as a state policy."

The following statements were made in the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

"We condemn Israel's attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The targeting of the Hamas negotiating team while ceasefire negotiations are ongoing demonstrates that Israel aims to continue the war, not to achieve peace.

This attack added Qatar, which mediated the ceasefire negotiations, to the list of countries targeted by Israel in the region. This is clear evidence of Israel's expansionist policies in the region and its adoption of terrorism as a state policy.

We stand with Qatar against this vile attack targeting its sovereignty and security.

We reiterate our call on the international community to put pressure on Israel to end its ongoing aggression in Palestine and the region.

TURKISH GRAND NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER NUMAN KURTULMUŞ: I CONDEMN IT IN THE STRONGEST WAY

I condemn in the strongest possible terms the heinous airstrike launched today by the genocidal Netanyahu government on Doha, the capital of Qatar.

This despicable attack is a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of our brotherly country, Qatar.

Just as it did in its illegal military operations against Syria, Yemen, and Iran, Israel demonstrated once again that it does not want peace, tranquility, or stability in the Middle East by striking Qatar, which was making great efforts for peace while ceasefire negotiations were ongoing.

Netanyahu and his gang prove that they are a barbaric administration devoid of justice, peace and humanity.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz condemned the Israeli attack;

The Netanyahu administration, which is on trial for genocide, continues to add new ones to its unlawful actions.

Israel's attack on Doha, the capital of Qatar, is a clear violation of international law.

We condemn and curse in the strongest possible terms this attack, which threatens the security of our friend and brother Qatar, which has always prioritized peaceful solutions and diplomacy.

This attack, which targets Qatar's territorial integrity and sovereignty, is also a blow to peaceful diplomacy, which is based on mediation in resolving problems.

We call on international institutions and all countries acting responsibly to take an effective stand against Israel's aggression and its reckless actions that pose a threat to regional stability and peace.

AK PARTY SPOKESMAN ÖMER ÇELİK: BARBARIAN ATTACK IS AN ACT OF TERROR

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said,"Israel's attack in Qatar is a barbaric act of terrorism. This barbaric attack is a clear violation of international law."

In his post on his NSosyal account regarding Israel’s attack on Doha, the capital of Qatar, Çelik noted the following:

Israel's attack on Qatar is a barbaric act of terrorism. This barbaric attack is a clear violation of international law. With this act of terrorism, Israel has once again demonstrated its hostility to mediation for peace and a ceasefire. We condemn this attack, which threatens the security of our friend and brother Qatar. Israel's targeting of a Hamas negotiating team on Qatari soil means targeting all countries calling for peace and a ceasefire. Calling for negotiations and then targeting a Hamas team is a barbaric act of terrorism. Israel has targeted all countries that want peace.

HARSH REACTION FROM AK PARTY DEPUTY CHAIRMAN ALA

AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala said regarding Israel’s attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Qatar, “As Turkey, we condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack carried out by Israel in the capital of Qatar. Israel’s policy of boundless brutality has now targeted the negotiating table.” In a post on his NSosyal account, Ala noted the following: “As Turkey, we condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack carried out by Israel in the capital of Qatar. Israel’s policy of boundless brutality has now targeted the negotiating table. This attack is a manifestation of Israel’s hatred for peace. Targeting the negotiating team while ceasefire negotiations are ongoing is a new and dangerous phase of Israel’s war on diplomacy, mediation, and ultimately, peace. This is an action targeting our regional stability. The international community can no longer remain spectators in the face of Israel’s lawless expansionism. Concrete, severe, and immediate sanctions have become inevitable.”

HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS BURHANETTİN DURAN: I CONDEMN IT IN THE STRONGEST WAY

Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran condemned the Israeli attack, saying,"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack perpetrated by Israel against the Hamas negotiating team in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This attack, devoid of state tradition, clearly violates international law, Qatar's sovereignty, and humanitarian conscience, and undermines all efforts for peace and stability in the region. It also demonstrates that Israel does not seek peace, but rather continues to perpetuate genocide and the shedding of innocent blood. The international community must no longer remain silent in the face of Israel's aggressive policies and must stand with law and justice. In the face of this barbarism, we must unite and demonstrate a common will for a future where peace prevails. As Turkey, under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we stand with our friendly and brotherly country, Qatar, which is mediating the just struggle of the Palestinian people and the ceasefire negotiations."
