All about the Champions League group stage

UEFA reminded that clubs from the same country cannot play in the league part of the LŠ, and no team can have more than two rivals from the same country.

The group stage of the Champions League will last from September 16 this year to January 28, 2026. The eight first-placed teams will secure direct placement in the round of 16 of the elite competition, while the clubs from 9th to 24th place will play a playoff for placement in the round of 16.

Clubs, which at the end of the league stage will be placed from 25th to 36th place, will end the season. The Champions League trophy is defended by PSG, who beat Inter 5:0 in the final last season.

Also, the Champions League final will be played on May 30 next year in Budapest.
