3:19

The tense duel between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain , in the final of the Club World Cup , was marked by a general confusion on the pitch of the MetLife Stadium , in New Jersey, in the United States. PSG coach, Luis Enrique , even slapped Brazilian João Pedro , from the English team, in the face.

A tense atmosphere dominated Chelsea's surprising 3-0 victory over favorite PSG, the reigning Champions League champions. Players clashed repeatedly throughout the 90 minutes. In the closing stages, Portuguese player João Neves pulled Spaniard Cucurella's hair and received a straight red card, leaving PSG with 10 men in the final moments of the match.

With the final whistle, tempers flared, and Chelsea barely had time to celebrate their great victory. The altercation began with an argument between Chelsea's Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos and PSG's Portuguese full-back Nuno Mendes. Players from both teams approached to break it up, fueling the rivalry.

The most unfortunate moment occurred during a disagreement between goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and João Pedro. PSG coach Luis Enrique intervened and ended up slapping Chelsea's Brazilian signing in the face, leaving him falling to the ground with his hands on his face.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca rushed to separate his players and eased the tense atmosphere between the two sides. From then on, the confusion dissipated, with the Chelsea players gathering on one side of the field to begin their celebration of the World Cup.
