Zakharova: The West wants to destroy the Ukrainians, just as Hitler destroyed the Slavs

The spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, assessed today that Western countries are planning to"exterminate" Ukrainians in a similar way as Hitler planned to exterminate the Slavs.

"I never had any doubt that, in addition to using Ukraine as a means of exerting pressure and influence on our country, one of the crazy ideas devised by those in the West who provoked this conflict was the extermination of the Ukrainian population as such," she said in an interview with TASS.

Zakharova noted that Western countries"had similar plans 85 years ago" and reminded that "Nazism and fascism were raging in the same Ukraine."

"It seems that the West did not need a free Ukraine, and it did not need the Ukrainians either..., as the collaborationists did 85 years ago, under the banner of Nazism. Either the Ukrainians, from the perspective of the West, must rise up under the banner of Nazism, now neo-Nazism, or, from the perspective of the West, they must be exterminated," said the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The death toll in the attack on Ternopil has increased

The death toll in the Russian rocket attack on Ternopil  rose to 26. The police said that emergency services will continue to work around the clock at the impact sites, Igor Klimenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine reported on social media.

As of 8:30 p.m., it was confirmed that 26 people had died, including 3 children. A total of 93 people were injured, including 18 children, who are being treated in hospital.

Emergency and rescue teams are working around the clock at the sites destroyed in the morning attack. The work will continue through the night, and all units continue to clear the rubble and provide assistance to the injured.

Szijarto: Sending another 100 billion euros to Ukraine is madness

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijártó assessed today that sending another hundred billion euros of European taxpayers to Ukraine is"madness".
