Malibu - Actor Michael Madsen (†67) – known from Tarantino cult films such as"Kill Bill," "Reservoir Dogs," and "The Hateful Eight" – was found dead in his home in Malibu, California, early Thursday morning.
An emergency call was reportedly made. Rescue workers could only confirm his death, reports the website"TMZ."
What caused the movie star's death? It's still unclear. The cause of death has yet to be determined, but is initially presumed to be natural.
Madsen's agents said that the American still had some projects in the planning stages and was very excited about them.
His most famous role was probably that of the sadistic Mr. Blonde in Quentin Tarantino's debut film,"Reservoir Dogs." Madsen also had memorable supporting roles in films such as "Sin City" and "Thelma & Louise."
And: Madsen was originally slated to play the iconic role of Vincent Vega in "Pulp Fiction." But because he wasn't available, John Travolta was cast in the role in 1994.
Management describes Madsen as"one of Hollywood's most iconic actors" and one who will be missed by many.
