Bursalı stated that the genocide and systematic attacks Israel has been carrying out in the Gaza Strip for months have wounded the conscience of humanity, saying,"This brutality, which targets hospitals, schools, and refugee camps, requires not only a reaction but also concrete diplomatic steps. Indeed, the recognition decisions coming from around the world are promising developments in this direction."
"Türkiye PLAYED A LEADING ROLE UNDER OUR PRESIDENT'S LEADERSHIP"
Bursalı noted that 148 of the 193 member states of the United Nations recognize Palestine as an independent state, saying,"Following Ireland, Norway, and Spain, France has also announced its recognition of Palestine. It is very valuable that French President Emmanuel Macron called for cooperation with Turkey in this process during his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Türkiye's leadership on the Palestinian issue is now recognized on a global scale."

Bursalı described British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's announcement that they could recognize Palestine, citing the UN General Assembly to be held in September, and Malta's declaration of will in this direction as"the rising common voice of conscientious countries," and emphasized that Türkiye's stance in this process is decisive.
PERSON FROM BURSA: Türkiye WILL CONTINUE TO DO ITS RESPONSIBILITY
"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has been defending the just cause of the Palestinian people for years; he is the voice of both the Islamic world and the global conscience," Bursalı said, adding that Türkiye's international struggle to stop the massacres in Gaza, recognize Palestine as a state, and implement a two-state solution continues with determination.

Bursalı stated that Türkiye also strongly supported the calls made at the "Two-State Solution" conference held at the United Nations, attended by 14 countries including France, Australia, Canada, Spain, Finland, Ireland and Norway, and concluded his statement with the following words:
"Recognizing Palestine is no longer a choice; it is a humanitarian obligation. Turkey will continue to fulfill its responsibilities in every diplomatic, humanitarian and political arena to this end."
