Trump's Warnings to China Over Taiwan

247 - The United States will immediately cease all aid to Nigeria if the killing of Christians continues, US President Donald Trump said on Saturday (1), adding that he will instruct the Pentagon to prepare for a possible military invasion of the oil-rich African country to, according to him,"eradicate Islamic terrorists."

"If the Nigerian government continues to allow the murder of Christians, the U.S. will immediately suspend all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well invade this shamed country now, weapons in hand, to completely eliminate the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrific atrocities. I am hereby instructing our War Department to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be swift, gruesome, and sweet, just as the terrorist thugs attack our BELOVED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD ACT QUICKLY!", he wrote on Truth Social.

Negotiations

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and the US president may meet in the coming days, either at the White House or on Nigerian soil, to discuss the protection of Christians against terrorist attacks, said the Nigerian president's special advisor, Daniel Bwala, on Sunday.

On Friday, Trump asked Congressmen Riley Moore and Tom Cole, as well as the House Appropriations Committee, to investigate the alleged mass killings of Christians in Nigeria by Islamic extremists and submit a report to him. The US president also declared that he had designated Nigeria as a"Country of Special Concern".

“Regarding the disagreements about whether terrorists in Nigeria attack only Christians or, in fact, people of all faiths or no faith, these differences, if they exist, will be discussed and resolved by the two leaders when they meet in the coming days, either at the State House or the White House,” Bwala wrote on the X network (formerly Twitter).

According to the advisor, both leaders are committed to fighting terrorism and thanked the United States for its support in this area.

“President Trump has greatly helped Nigeria by authorizing the sale of weapons to the country, and President Tinubu has fully seized this opportunity in the fight against terrorism, from which we already have great results to show,” Bwala added.

On November 2nd, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth declared that the department was preparing to act against Islamic terrorists in Nigeria, following an order from Trump. (With information from Sputnik).
