Israel Attacks Mehrabad Airport, Here's What's Happening!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Israel launched a missile attack on Mehrabad Airport, Iran, on Friday night (13/6/2025) local time. However, this attack did not cause any damage to the airport's runway.

Quoted from Anadolu, Iran reported on Saturday (14/6/2025) that no damage occurred to the Mehrabad Airport runway during the Israeli airstrike last night.

According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, the attack targeted an area behind the airport's vehicle equipment building and a hangar used for fighter jets at Mehrabad Airport in the capital Tehran.

"The report stated that the airport runway, main terminal and main facilities were not affected by the attack," Anadolu wrote, quoted Saturday (14/6/2025).

Earlier, in the early hours of Friday, Israeli forces struck Iran, hitting nuclear and missile facilities and killing more than 104 people, including top military commanders and scientists, and injuring nearly 380.

According to reports, Iran responded with ballistic missiles targeting several areas in Israel, killing three people and injuring more than 170 others.
