The 25th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation will be held in Tianjin, China, from August 31 to September 1 this year.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit will be the largest meeting ever held.

President Erdoğan will also attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Making a statement about the visit on social media, Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran said,"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit Tianjin between August 31 and September 1, 2025, to attend the 25th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a guest of honor, upon the invitation of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China."
