Marwan Saadane, defender of the Moroccan national reserve football team, said that “the national team’s goal in the match against the Saudi team is to achieve victory and win the three points,” expecting that the match will be “difficult and tough.”
Saâdane explained in a press statement before the training session that the national reserve team players undertook on Sunday evening, in preparation for facing the Saudi national team, as part of the third round of the second group competitions of the Arab Cup (Qatar 2025), that the national elements are “determined to win and occupy first place,” adding that the experience of some national elements who participated in the previous edition of the Arab Cup will benefit the team in this mission.
The national team's central defender and Al-Fateh Saudi player pointed out that difficult matches require players to improve their performance, stressing that the players' experience will be crucial in tomorrow's match on Monday.
For his part, his teammate Ashraf Mahdawi said in the same context that facing the Saudi national team is important for the national players, adding: “We want to win and we are ready to achieve this goal.”
The defensive midfielder and Al-Taawoun player confirmed that “the professionalism of many national team players in the Saudi league and their knowledge of Saudi players are helpful factors in such matches.”
It should be noted that the national reserve football team will face its Saudi counterpart tomorrow, Monday, at Lusail Stadium (6 pm Moroccan time), and at the same time the second match of this group will take place between the Comoros national team and the Sultanate of Oman national team at the 974 Stadium in Doha.
