The World's Current Take

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made the following statements: Our Economy Department has a presentation. Our R&D Department has a presentation. Our Environment Department has a presentation. Our President and our Chairman made comprehensive assessments of domestic policy, foreign policy, and their trip to China at the opening. As you know, our organizations are currently on the ground as part of the Turkey meetings. We will continue this work with our colleagues until September 15th, and we continue to do so. Of course, we are closely following the domestic and foreign policy agenda. Our primary agenda, as always, is the Netanyahu government's continuation of the genocide in Gaza by committing more massacres every day. It is clearly stated that orders were given for the occupation of Gaza before the eyes of the world, and action plans are being prepared accordingly.

'USA'S VISA CANCELLATION DECISION IS WRONG'

Frankly, this will surpass even what the Nazis did, even the murders committed by the Nazis. It is an example of the most brutal, barbaric policy of massacre, of genocide in human history. It is a requirement of human dignity, human honor, and all values inherent in humanity that those who perpetrated this be tried before a humanitarian court, sooner or later. Of course, while all this is happening, there is a very meaningful and valuable movement worldwide toward the recognition of Palestine and the recognition of the State of Palestine. In the face of this very movement, the US administration's revocation of the visas of Palestinian officials was extremely wrong. This means the dysfunction and loss of ground for a platform where renowned authorities and states can make their voices heard, such as the United Nations. Therefore, revoking the visas of President Mahmoud Abbas and other officials is an unjust and unjust decision. This demonstrates that objective approaches, already largely eroded within international law, legitimate grounds, and the United Nations, and the invisible objective approaches, have been completely nullified, and that certain unilateral actions have been taken. This decision must be reversed. Because, as in all matters, the voices of Palestinians should be heard in the Palestinian issue, as in the nature, fairness, and justice of the matter, the voices of those attacked and subjected to genocide are essential. Of course, if this does not happen, if the decision regarding visa cancellation is not reversed, many heads of state and government will become Palestinian voices. Undoubtedly, the loudest voice for Palestine on this issue will come from our President. For years, our President has been proclaiming the Palestinian cause loudest in all his speeches at the United Nations General Assembly. Therefore, this year, with the speech of our President and the speeches of many other leaders, the Palestinian cause—the genocide committed by Netanyahu's government in Gaza—will leave its mark on the United Nations General Assembly.

'STEEL DOME ECHOES AROUND THE WORLD'

This has long since become a matter for states. This is a matter between a network of massacres and the alliance of humanity. The alliance of humanity must ultimately defeat this network of massacres to achieve the triumph of values and preserve the achievements of civilization. Therefore, we all see and appreciate that even if Palestinian officials are not granted permission, the speech delivered by our President will resonate as the most resounding of Palestine at the United Nations and throughout the world. Of course, there have been many important developments this Victory Week. Chief among these is the progress we have made regarding the steel dome. This resonated globally, and a crucial milestone has been crossed for the defense of our country. As we can see, those who refused us even ordinary pistols in the past, those who imposed embargoes, are now constantly reporting the current state of Türkiye's defense industry. Of course, our defense industry poses no threat to anyone. We are achieving this for our own national security. We are achieving these successes. Our President has given all our institutions this direction, this direction, this vision, saying,"We can do it, we can do it even better." And at this point, where barbarism is attempting to take over the world, where nearly 70% of the world's conflicts are taking place around Türkiye, and where major potential crises exist, the progress our defense industry has made is, of course, a source of pride. The resonance of the steel dome globally, at a time when everyone admits they were too late to both understand these issues and take concrete measures against them in the defense industry, demonstrates once again the invaluable nature of Türkiye's foresight, the line our President's vision has aligned Türkiye with. Of course, some neighboring countries say that Türkiye's signature on the steel dome poses a threat to them. We reiterate this: Türkiye's power is no threat to anyone. Türkiye's power is the guarantee of peace. But no one should pursue wrongdoing in the Aegean, the Mediterranean, or anywhere else. We must resolve issues at the negotiating table, through negotiations and diplomacy. These matters should not be left to the field. At a time when the world is already burdened with great stress and major fault lines are being triggered, there is no need for further stress and the triggering of these fault lines. Therefore, we are at peace with our neighbors, and we act on the principle that everyone's security is our security. Everyone's well-being is our well-being. We do not wish for anyone to be compromised in their security, nor for anyone to be deprived of their prosperity. We pursue total peace and total prosperity.

Of course, we've seen this in the past, as I mentioned here during the press conference. Due to the events in Syria and other developments, so many warships have been sent to the Mediterranean by many countries that, as I've stated before, there's practically no room left in the Mediterranean to accommodate fishing vessels, no place left to accommodate fishing boats. Therefore, our emphasis on the Blue Homeland and our developments in the Blue Homeland are extremely valuable and important. This year's Teknofest Blue Homeland, which brings together Teknofest youth with the Blue Homeland, is extremely important for bringing these developments to light and encouraging our youth's work in this field. The fact that Teknofest was held in such a comprehensive manner this year, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Industry, and with our naval forces, is also extremely important for Türkiye's emphasis on the Blue Homeland and its preparations for the future of the Blue Homeland, against the turmoil in the seas around us, and for even greater challenges. The work done by the young people here, the inventions and achievements made there, are important for demonstrating that we will leave our mark on the seas for the future. Of course, the frequent delivery of these services to our heroic armed forces, whether by our state institutions, our defense industry institutions, or other areas, and their implementation in a unified and integrated manner, will have extremely valuable consequences for the challenges that will confront us in the coming period.

My dear friends, the issue of a terror-free Turkey is always on our agenda, and our President and Chairman touched upon this point in his opening speech. As you know, the People's Alliance, acting in line with Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's historic call and the will of our President as head of state, has also stated, as the initiator of the process, its unified determination to bring this matter to a conclusion. The People's Alliance's stance on this matter is clearly confirmed by all developments, demonstrating its invaluable nature. With the instructions of our President to state institutions, as well as those of the People's Alliance, this process has become a matter of state policy. Furthermore, the establishment of a commission by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to develop a roadmap, establish the basis, and establish the legal basis for the disbandment and disarmament of the PKK terrorist organization allows the Grand National Assembly to carry out the process in a way that secures the support of the participating parties and political parties. Of course, it should not be overlooked that the commission's primary focus is the PKK's renunciation of its fez and disarmament. Attempts to highlight other issues, however, are merely agendas and agendas designed to obscure, conceal, or disrupt the PKK's renunciation of its arms and disarmament agenda. This, of course, involves the implementation of the disarmament and dissolution process. Here, the PKK terrorist organization, with all its branches and extensions, all its illegal structures, all its financial centers, and its propaganda centers, must lay down its arms and disband itself within the framework of the calls made in line with this process of a terror-free Turkey and a terror-free region. We would like to emphasize that any behavior that would lead to the loss of this focus, while using the rhetoric of a terror-free Turkey, would in fact hinder this process.

Mr. President and Chairman, in their opening remarks at the Central Executive Committee (MYK) meeting today, stated that there should be no loss of focus on this issue, that some have lost focus, that these agendas are incorrect, and that there should be no loss of focus. Furthermore, the statements made by Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), as our MYK meeting began, are extremely important regarding both the commission and Syria. Of course, in this context, when we speak of a terror-free Turkey, we stated from the very beginning of this process that not only this address or that address of the PKK is necessary, but all of its branches and extensions, legal and legal, as well as illegal, and some of its legal-looking structures and illegal structures in Europe, must be dissolved and its arms must be laid down. We stated at the beginning of this process that we understand this and that it must be understood. However, any approach other than this will truly harm the process of a terror-free Turkey and a terror-free region. The terror-free Turkey process and the terror-free region process are not two separate processes. They are integrated processes. Because the terrorist threat against our country not only exists within our territory, but its true centers are in countries outside our territory. When the authorities in those countries failed to demonstrate the will to eliminate this threat, the Republic of Turkey continued its fight against terrorism in accordance with international law, within the authority granted to it by the United Nations Charter. Therefore, attempting to separate the process of a terror-free Turkey from the process of a terror-free region is not a sound approach. Second, we are clearly observing this in the region, especially in Syria.

'TERRORISM HAS NOTHING TO GAIN FOR ANYONE'

We believe that behaviors such as refraining from laying down arms, engaging in behavior that would sabotage the central structure in Syria, distancing oneself from the terror-free Turkey process and the terror-free region process in Türkiye, defining a different position for oneself, and even taking up arms should be coded as actions against this entire process. This is the meaning of our President and Chairman's statement,"Those who turn to Ankara and Damascus will win." Furthermore, as our Central Executive Committee (MYK) began today, there was a crucial sentence in Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's statement. It states that those who attempt to disrupt this process under Mr. Bahçeli's leadership, those who pursue another plan in Syria, will essentially become part of Zionism's plan, not the terror-free region process. Now, when we say these things here, some people are taking a stand. They are saying something against the Kurds' gains. No. The existence of any terrorist organization, or the support of any terrorist organization by anyone, is not a gain for the Kurds. It is not a gain for the Turks. It is not a gain for the Arabs. It is not a gain for the Sunnis. It is not a gain for the Alevis. The Druze, the Alawite, the Shia are no one's gain. No one should view the existence of any terrorist organization or their collaboration with it as a gain for their own identity, affiliation, affiliation, political identity, ethnic identity, or sectarian identity. Terrorism offers no gain. In fact, when any terrorist organization says,"I fight on behalf of groups of this sect or that ethnic group, for their rights," we have seen this thousands of times in the Middle East. It was seen in the 1960s. It was seen in the 1970s. It is evident now. All of this amounts to acting as a subcontractor for imperialist plans, which have now been replaced by Zionist plans. We are working to finalize the process of a terror-free Turkey and a terror-free region. We are determined to achieve these goals. To this end, we are seeing covert operations by certain states. We are seeing the organizations behind the zigzagging statements of those who should have laid down their arms. Therefore, we reiterate this point: for the benefit of our country. For the benefit of everyone in our country, and for the benefit of everyone in our region and the immediate region—Turks, Arabs, Kurds, Sunnis, Alevis, Shiites, Nusayirs, Duzis, and Yazidis—terrorist organizations must lay down their arms and the terrorist agenda must be eliminated. We have clearly made great strides with a series of reforms within Türkiye, within a greater Turkey, and through democracy. We have made great strides over the years. Therefore, the process of addressing deficiencies in rights and freedoms is always a dynamic one. We have stated this from the very beginning. Our perspective on these issues is focused on the goal of achieving a terror-free Türkiye, and the fundamental underpinning of this goal is one homeland, one nation, one state, and one flag country. There is no compromise on these matters. There is no bargaining on these matters. There is no negotiation on these matters. There is no negotiation on these matters. There is no bargaining on these matters. There is no bargaining on these matters regarding the characteristics of the state or the values of the nation.

Similarly, we believe that, based on past experience, it is best for our neighboring Syria to look to the future as a sovereign state, with its territorial integrity, based on one country, one Syria, and one army. This is the most appropriate roadmap for both the brotherly Syrian people, the brotherly Syrian state, and Türkiye's national security. Of course, any approach that deviates from this will not be viewed favorably by us in any way; it is impossible. I saw the statement mentioned by PYD leader Salih Müslüm. It is a statement combined with his previous statements. As we said, we consider a stance of conflict with the central government in Damascus to be an attitude against the process of a terror-free zone. Similarly, we see that those who try to prevent the PYD from disarming the SDF, that is, the Syrian PKK, oppose this process of a terror-free zone and a terror-free Turkey, as reflected in Mr. Bahçeli's statement today, are attempting to delay, stall for time, and dilute this process. Of course, in that statement, as you know, from time to time, those who support terrorism use certain legitimate concepts as consumables. In fact, what Adam refers to as centralism isn't actually Adam's centralism. We possess the National Security Consciousness to understand the actual meaning of what he calls Adam's centralism. What he calls Adam's centralism, in our view, is terrorist statism. Therefore, our President previously stated that we would not allow terrorist statists, using the motto"We can come suddenly one night." As a matter of state policy, we are striving to achieve the goal of a terror-free region and a terror-free Turkey through a commission established in the Grand National Assembly with the participation of all political parties.

CANCELLATION OF CHP ISTANBUL PROVINCIAL CONGRESS

Central Executive Committee (MYK) - We haven't evaluated this in any way. Ultimately, it's a court-related process; only some publications mention that a trustee was appointed. However, as far as we can see, the judicial process is ongoing. The court issued a preliminary injunction and reappointed a previous CHP provincial administration. Perhaps this is because the previous administration was banned from politics. Of course, I don't know how the court assessed this. But this was brought forward as a precautionary measure. Of course, we don't want political parties to be brought to the forefront in this way. However, if there are any irregularities on the part of political parties, the court's determination of this and its subsequent action are also tied to the ongoing judicial process. Therefore, it's inappropriate for us to make any detailed assessments about it. However, it appears that the CHP administration was removed, and a previous CHP provincial administration was placed there as a precautionary measure, meaning not as a trustee, and the judicial process is ongoing. The appeal process is ongoing, and we are monitoring it.

DOCTOR IN KONYA FAILED TO EXAMINATE FEMALE PATIENT

A doctor in Konya, right? Refusing to examine a patient because of their clothing? A female patient. This is completely unacceptable and utterly wrong. Medicine is a humanitarian art. A doctor dedicates their life to the healing of humanity. We are proud of our physicians and all our healthcare professionals. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we've seen once again how dedicated they are to healing humanity. I've even said that they've rewritten the definition of patriotism for our physicians and healthcare professionals, thanks to their sacrifices in Türkiye. Therefore, accusing a woman of exhibitionism is utterly inappropriate, inappropriate, and completely incompatible with the humanitarian art of medicine. When a physician examines a patient, they don't consider their gender, their attire, what they're wearing, their ethnic or sectarian affiliation, or whether they're rich or poor. A true physician, dedicated to the art of humanity and healing, is motivated solely by treating and healing the person before them. This approach is, of course, flawed. But we also see the sacrifices our physicians and healthcare professionals make every day to heal our citizens. Such isolated examples should not be dismissed as a part of the art of medicine or Turkish physicians.
