The American armed forces have taken a series of preventive measures to protect personnel and equipment in Middle East, as the tension with the Iran escalates after the Israeli attacks and threats of possible US involvement.

According to Pentagon officials who spoke to CNN, the unmanned US aircraft were removed from the large base. Al Udeid in Qatar, while the US Navy warships stationed at the US base in Bahrain (Naval Support Activity Bahrain) departed the port earlier this week. It is not known where the ships and aircraft have been moved.

At the same time, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has added blood supplies to the region, an action that is standard procedure in periods of possible attack on American forces.

One of the officials described the moves preventive planning, as Iran has warned that it will attack US forces if Washington assists Israel in a possible strike against Iranian nuclear facilities.

THE Donald Trump has not yet made a decision on a military strike, but the possibility is being considered and Tehran has already signaled that in such a case there will be an immediate response.

Iran has dozens of proxy organizations in the region that can attack American bases and forces with missiles or drones.

It is recalled that in January 2024, three American soldiers were killed and dozens were injured when a pro-Iranian Shiite militia launched a drone attack on the Tower 22 base, on the border of Syria and Iraq.
