Pete Hegseth attended a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels on Wednesday. In the afternoon, the American Secretary of War flew out of the Belgian capital on a government plane.

Once over the Atlantic and passing Ireland, the plane unexpectedly turned around, heading back towards Great Britain. The change in flight path could be tracked on Flight Radar.
