In two hours, Russian air defense systems destroyed five Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over Crimean territory, the Russian Ministry of Defense's Telegram channel reports.

The drones were shot down over the peninsula between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM Moscow time, the Defense Ministry said in a statement. Prior to that, between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM Moscow time, air defense forces destroyed one drone over Crimea. The republic's authorities have not reported any consequences of the attacks.

Traffic on the Crimean Bridge is temporarily closed, a Telegram channel reported on the bridge's operational situation on the evening of October 12. There were no queues at the approaches throughout the day, according to the channel's publications.
