Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump spoke by phone on the afternoon of July 4, after Trump spoke for an hour with Russian President Vladimir Putin the previous day.

Zelensky reported on the phone conversation on his social media page, saying it was very important and useful, and that they touched on several topics related to the war in Ukraine.

The phone call between Trump and Zelensky took place after the US President spoke on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin for nearly an hour the previous day.
