The Israeli Air Force and the Israeli Navy reported on Sunday that since the beginning of the conflict with Tehran they have intercepted more than 100 drones launched from Iran towards Israel.

“Air defense systems and missile boats are operating to intercept and eliminate threats,” the Israeli military said in a statement.

Furthermore, Israeli authorities indicated that they have not received any reports of drones downed in Israeli territory.

This Sunday, and threatened even greater force, while some Iranian missiles evaded Israeli air defenses to hit buildings in the heart of the country. Planned talks on Iran's nuclear program, which could provide a way out, were canceled.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out a “wave of large-scale attacks” on Sunday against infrastructure belonging to the Quds Force (military intelligence), the Revolutionary Guard, and the Iranian army in Tehran, as well as “numerous weapons production sites across Iran.”

Iran's military, on state television, warned Israelis to stay away from"occupied" areas and threatened a "devastating response."

Meanwhile, explosions rocked Iran's capital, Tehran, around noon and again around 3:30 p.m. Sirens sounded across much of Israel again around 4 p.m. and again around 8:30 p.m. The Israeli military reported"several sites hit," including Haifa in the north.

On Saturday, at least six people , including a 10-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy, were killed when an Israeli missile hit an apartment building in Bat Yam, near Tel Aviv. A local police commander said 180 people were wounded and seven were missing.

Four other people, including a 13-year-old boy, were killed and 24 injured when a missile struck a building in the northern Israeli Arab city of Tamra. An attack in the central city of Rehovot injured 42.

The Weizmann Institute of Science, a major research center in Rehovot, reported “several impacts on campus buildings.” It said no one was injured.

An oil refinery was damaged in the Israeli city of Haifa, according to the company that operates it, which said no one was injured.
