Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday that the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities set a bad precedent.
The minister added,"All parties to the conflict must take the necessary measures to de-escalate the situation and return to dialogue and negotiation."
Wang also considered that Israel's attacks on Iran, based on the existence of a"potential future threat," sent "wrong signals" to the world.
Wang made the remarks during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Beijing today, a Chinese Foreign Ministry statement said.
On Sunday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the US attack on Iran, stating in a statement:"China strongly condemns the US attack on Iran and on nuclear facilities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency."
