Peskov said that Putin's administration is aware that arms supplies to Ukraine will continue.

"It is obvious that the Europeans are also actively involved in supplying weapons to Ukraine," he complained.

Peskov also indicated that the Kremlin considers Trump's"actions" to be "inconsistent with attempts to promote a peaceful solution" and added that the Europeans have also chosen a course aimed at "continuing hostilities."

It has already been reported that US President Donald Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he had not given instructions to withhold military aid to Ukraine, the US newspaper"Wall Street Journal" reports, citing people familiar with the content of the recent conversation between the US and Ukrainian presidents.

Trump told Zelensky on Friday that he had merely ordered an audit of US ammunition stocks following US strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran.

"But he [said he] did not order the ministry to freeze arms supplies," the newspaper's sources said.

On Monday, Trump confirmed that the US would send new batches of weapons to Ukraine, and the Pentagon immediately announced that they were already being sent.

It was previously reported that the US had suspended arms supplies to Kiev, including the supply of Patriot air defense missiles.

This was explained by the depletion of US stocks, but journalists found that in reality the volume of US weapons was not a cause for concern.

Trump's defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, has already suspended arms shipments to Ukraine three times. All three times, the decision was lifted within days and military aid to Kiev was restored.
