US President Donald Trump was"very angry" after learning that Ukrainian drones damaged a Russian oil pipeline supplying oil to Hungary.

Thus, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has good relations with both Trump and Putin, wrote a letter to the US president complaining about Ukrainian attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline.

"Ahead of the historic meeting between President Trump and Putin in Alaska, Ukraine carried out drone strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline in Russia. This pipeline supplies Hungary and Slovakia, two countries that have no other means of importing crude oil. Hungary supports Ukraine with electricity and gasoline, and in response they bomb the oil pipeline that supplies us. A very unfriendly move!" the letter, published by Hungary's ruling party, said."Fidesz".

The published photocopy of the letter also shows a handwritten response, apparently written by Donald Trump.

"Viktor, I don't like to hear this. I'm very angry about this. Tell Slovakia. You're a great friend of mine," Trump wrote.

As the publication writes Politico, Hungary and Slovakia complained about the attacks on"Druzhba" not only to Trump, but also to the leadership of the European Union.

Strikes on"Druzhba"

As UNIAN reported, on August 13, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian kamikaze drones attacked the pumping station of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region. In particular, there were reports of a large-scale fire near the building of the backup pumping station and explosions near the tank farm and the area where the main and backup pumps are located.

Later Osinters confirmed by satellite images destruction of two pumping stations.

On August 18, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdy, reported that Ukrainian drones struck another important pumping station on the same oil pipeline.

And on August 21,"Magyar's" subordinates inflicted second strike on the first pumping station, which was put out of action on August 13 and which the Russians managed to restore.
