247 - The United States Embassy in Brazil has once again made threats against the Supreme Federal Court because of the trial of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the investigation into the coup plot.
According to a publication this Tuesday (9) on the official White House account on the social network X, spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated that"freedom of expression is, without a doubt, the most important issue of our time".
"It is enshrined in our Constitution," the post continued, adding that US President Donald Trump"firmly believes" in the law."We have taken significant action against Brazil, both in the form of sanctions and the use of tariffs, to ensure that countries around the world do not punish their citizens in this way," Karoline said.
Also on Tuesday (9), the embassy had already threatened STF minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the inquiry into the coup plot at the Court, where the score is 2 to 0 for the conviction of Bolsonaro and his allies.
