"This is about importing electricity for Ukraine to meet the needs of our people in the face of Russian missile and drone strikes. It is also about exporting our energy resources through the territory of Slovakia to third countries. The more we work with each other, the better it will be for all of Europe," Zelenskyy stressed.

Separately, he added that today the railway workers have a significant result.

"I would like to congratulate them. This is a new track - part of the European network that connects Uzhhorod with Bratislava, Kosice, Budapest, and Vienna. This is just one of our first such steps, in fact, the integration of Ukrainian railways into the European Union networks," Zelensky said.

He said that"thousands of similar projects are ahead" and that Ukraine will definitely become part of the European Union.

As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasizes that our state is simply in the dark. is not going to tolerate massive Russian strikes on energy facilities. He noted that Ukraine will continue to respond to Russian aggression.

"As for the energy blockade, we didn't talk about it. I don't even know. I heard from you that there was such a signal in the media from Putin. By the way, if you look at it logically, if a person wants to end the war, then, probably, he will not ask Ukraine's partners or neighbors to impose an energy blockade," Zelensky said.
