Meeting in Alaska brought Russia closer to the"necessary" solutions regarding the war in Ukraine. This was stated by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on meeting with the top officials.
According to him, the visit to Alaska was"very useful", as it was possible to discuss almost all areas of interaction between the Russian Federation and the United States, but first of all - the issue of"resolving the Ukrainian crisis on a fair basis."
"We had the opportunity to talk about the genesis, about the causes of this crisis. And the elimination of these root causes must be the basis for the settlement," Putin said.
The Russian dictator said that Russia respects the US desire to achieve an early cessation of hostilities: Moscow allegedly wants the same thing.
"The conversation was very frank and meaningful. In my opinion, it brings us closer to the necessary decisions," the Russian dictator summed up.
