Announced the arrest of the perpetrator of the murder in Dibs district.

The command said in a statement,"After a quarrel broke out between one family due to disagreements, two were killed and another was injured at the hands of their cousin, and the perpetrator fled to Baiji district within the Salah al-Din Police Command's business sector, and with the follow-up of Kirkuk Police Commander, Police Major General Fattah Mahmoud Yassin al-Khafaji, and based on the directives of Salah al-Din Police Commander Major General Mustafa Ahmed Habib, and under his personal supervision, Salah al-Din Police Command detachments began searching, investigating, and gathering information."

The statement added,"Within hours, the security forces were able to arrest the perpetrator in a tight security operation," noting that "legal measures were taken against him and he was arrested in accordance with Article (406) of the Penal Code to receive his just punishment."

A security source reported on Thursday that two brothers were killed and a third brother was injured by their cousin's gunfire in the Dibis district of Kirkuk province.
