PETALING JAYA: The 16-year-old female student, who was killed at SMK Bandar Utama 4, was stabbed multiple times, say police.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shamsudin Mamat said police could not yet confirm the number of wounds on the victim's body.

"The post-mortem is still underway to determine the exact cause of death," he said when contacted on Tuesday (Oct 14).

He added that earlier, two sharp weapons were seized from the 14-year-old male suspect

ACP Shamsudin had said the incident occurred near the girls’ toilet at around 9.10am.

“Upon receiving a distress call, police personnel arrived at the scene at about 9.40am and confirmed that a murder had taken place.

"The victim was found dead in the school toilet,” he said.
