Adviser President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the information from the Polish portal Onet about the US's"favorable offer" to Russia regarding Ukraine.

"It is doubtful that Vitkoff or Ushakov (assistant to the Russian president - UNIAN) had time to talk to this portal (this is about Onet). Yesterday, during the leaders' conversation, nothing like this was said, and Vitkoff didn't say anything like that, he said other things," wrote Dmitry Lytvyn on social network X.

Source RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukraine supports the idea of a ceasefire in the sky, but talks about a broader peace have not yet taken place. The participation of Europe in the negotiations is being discussed, and, according to sources, Trump is open to such a format. The date of a potential meeting at the highest level has not been set. As for the initiative for a ceasefire in the sky, Moscow has not yet given a clear answer to this proposal. The Kremlin's likely agreement to the talks may turn out to be just a tactical maneuver, sources in Ukraine say.

"Witkoff's Plan" for Putin

The Polish publication Onet previously reported that yesterday, US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff allegedly presented a plan to Vladimir Putin at a meeting that included: an agreement on a ceasefire in Ukraine, not peace; de facto recognition of Russia's territorial acquisitions , the resolution of this issue will be postponed"for 49 or 99 years"; the lifting of most sanctions against Russia, and in the future the resumption of energy cooperation, that is, the import of Russian gas and oil. As Onet writes, the proposal lacks a guarantee of non-expansion of NATO, as well as a promise to stop military support for Kyiv.
