Today, Russia dropped an aerial bomb on the center of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region - at an hour when people were returning from work. The strike fell on the area of the Aurora store. There are dead and many injured, the report says.
As Lubinets noted, rescuers, medics, and military doctors are working at the scene — the local hospital cannot accommodate everyone.
"This is another deliberate attack on civilians. Russia is a terrorist state that is waging war against peaceful Ukrainians and destroying life even far from the front line," the Verkhovna Rada's Human Rights Committee stressed, and emphasized that the world must finally recognize that terrorism will not stop on its own. Concrete solutions, increased pressure, and action are needed.
The head of the regional state administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported on Facebook that the Russians had deliberately hit a shopping center in the city center with a 500-kilogram air bomb. According to preliminary data, two people were killed, 14 were injured, and people are probably still trapped under the rubble.
According to preliminary estimates, 30 retail outlets, six high-rise buildings, and eight cars were damaged.
According to Filashkin, there are probably still people under the rubble - the search for survivors is ongoing.
As Ukrinform reported, last night, Russian troops launched strikes with six Geran drones on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, damaging residential buildings, private enterprise facilities, and a kindergarten.
