For his part, Donald Trump said it was possible that Russian President Vladimir Putin may have territorial ambitions that go beyond Ukraine, leaving open the possibility of escalation by Moscow in other regions.
He said he plans to speak with Putin soon with the aim of ending the war in Ukraine. Zelensky wants the war to end and I plan to talk about it with Putin very soon, he said at a press conference in The Hague, after the end of the NATO Summit.
