The popular streamer and YouTube content creator visited Āgenskalns Market, Victory Park, the Freedom Monument, and the Latvian Radio building in Dome Square.
The internet personality was welcomed at Riga Airport by the Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis (ZZS), as well as Riga City Council member Mairis Briedis (S), according to information posted on the internet personality's"Youtube" account. Afterwards,"IShowSpeed" visited the Āgenskalns Market, where he tasted various Latvian dishes.
The internet content creator then arrived at Victory Park under police escort, and as he got out of the car, he was immediately surrounded by dozens of fans.
"IShowSpeed" baked bread and planted a tree in Victory Park.
After visiting Victory Park, the streamer went to the Freedom Monument, where he was greeted by a couple of thousand fans, as well as the president of the Latvian Basketball Union and former president of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis."IShowSpeed" also climbed onto the platform of the Freedom Monument, which some residents expressed outrage about on social networks.
There were also residents who expressed a negative stance, making rude gestures and even throwing a banana at the blogger's head.
After visiting the Freedom Monument, the internet personality visited the Latvian Radio building, where he appeared on the balcony with members of the music group"Olas". He was greeted by a couple of thousand fans, as well as about ten police crews taking care of order.
The audience at Doma Square also chanted various slogans, including"Latvija" and "IShowSpeed". At the radio building,"IShowSpeed" also met with Riga Mayor Viesturas Kleinbergs (P).
The Latvian Investment Development Agency (LIAA) informed LETA that Internet personality"IShowSpeed" will only be in Latvia for a few hours on Tuesday during his European tour.

Considering the influencer's influence and potential, LIAA identified his visit to Latvia as a significant opportunity for the country's international recognition.
