Between distrust of the ceasefire and the destruction of fighting, Iran and Israel return to daily life.

Netanyahu claims Hamas is taking control of humanitarian aid in Gaza

Hamas is taking control of humanitarian aid entering the northern Gaza Strip and stealing it from Gazan civilians, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz said in a joint statement late last night, instructing the military to submit a plan within 48 hours to prevent Hamas from stealing the aid, the statement said.

The announcement comes shortly after former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett posted a video on X of gunmen he said were Hamas operatives riding on trucks full of humanitarian aid they had seized. He wrote that soldiers on the ground told him their orders are to let the trucks into Gaza without attempting to monitor what happens to them.
