Palestinian sports media sources confirmed the deaths of four football players in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted various areas of the Strip last Tuesday.
The sources explained that four football players in the Gaza Strip were killed as a result of the Israeli bombing: the two children, Mustafa Abu Dalal and Muhammad Abu Dalal, from the Nuseirat Services Sports Academy, in addition to the player Muhammad Salem from Al-Sadaqa Club, and the goalkeeper Badr Abu Dalal, the goalkeeper of Nuseirat Services Club.
The killing of the players comes as part of a series of ongoing attacks targeting the Palestinian sports community since the start of the bombing of the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of a number of athletes, coaches and administrative staff in various clubs.
