The Misiones Renewal Front ratified its vote in Congress on the emergency pediatrics and university funding bills.

Tuesday, August 19

The Neo Renewal Front confirmed its support for the emergency law for the Garrahan hospital and the university fund in Congress, highlighting that with this decision,"Misiones ratifies its commitment to health and education."

The Neo Renewal Front of Misiones confirmed this Tuesday that its national legislators will support two initiatives of great social impact in Congress: the Emergency Pediatric Law and the creation of the University Fund (FUN).

"Two laws of great social impact are advancing in the Senate and will have the support of our representatives: the Garrahan Hospital Emergency Law and the University Fund (FUN)," the program said in a statement seeking to dispel "speculation" about its stance on these national debates.

Regarding the first project, the Renewal highlighted that Misiones supports the decision regarding the pediatric emergency, focused on the Garrahan Hospital,"understanding the importance of this national referral center, where thousands of children and adolescents in our province receive medical care."

Regarding university funding, they announced they will sign the ruling and noted that the president of the House of Representatives of Misiones and candidate for national deputy, Oscar Herrera Ahuad,"has already held meetings with rectors, vice-rectors, and deans, consolidating strong support for higher education throughout the country."

The statement emphasizes that in this way, the Renewal Front"leaves speculation behind and demonstrates with facts its commitment to two essential pillars: health and education."

The vetoes

Regarding the recent presidential vetoes, the caucus recalled that its senators"voted in favor of the disability emergency and aid to Bahía Blanca," which, they emphasized,"strengthens the solidarity and federal perspective of Misiones."

Referring to the upcoming legislative debates, the program warned that"the discussions in the Chamber of Deputies will be complex, since rejecting a veto requires two-thirds of the votes, while ratifying it requires only one-third."

However, the position was reaffirmed:"We support what means better health, more inclusion, and more educational opportunities for Argentines."

Finally, the Misiones Renewal Front reaffirmed its political and territorial identity:"Misiones is always present, building a path of unity, commitment, and solutions for the people through Congress."
