Russian troops attacked the facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, including a military-industrial complex enterprise and a logistics base on the outskirts of Kiev, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today.
"A massive attack was carried out... on facilities for the production, assembly, repair, storage and launch of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as on military air bases in the central, southern and eastern parts of Ukraine, including the Kiev-67 industrial enterprise on the western outskirts of Kyiv and the STS-GRUPP logistics base," the Ministry said, reports RIA Novosti.
The attack was carried out using high-precision weapons and drones.
"The goals of the attack were achieved, all the specified objects were hit. No attacks were carried out on other objects within the borders of Kyiv," the Russian ministry emphasized.
Earlier this morning, the building of the Government of Ukraine caught fire in the center of Kyiv.
The fire covered more than 1,000 square meters.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said that the government building was attacked and damaged for the first time since the beginning of the conflict.
Also in Kremenchuk, Poltava Region, the Kryukovsky Bridge, the main logistical hub of the Ukrainian armed forces, was hit.
During the past week, up to 18 trains with military cargo passed through it daily.
