Egyptian sources told Cairo News that the mediators' proposal, approved by Hamas, has been delivered to the Israeli side and is awaiting a response.
It's worth noting that Egyptian sources confirmed Monday that the Palestinian Hamas movement has agreed to a proposal presented by mediators from Egypt and Qatar, which includes the redeployment of Israeli forces to areas adjacent to the border to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
The sources explained, in exclusive statements to Cairo News, that the proposal includes a temporary halt to military operations for 60 days, during which a number of Palestinian prisoners will be exchanged for half the number of Israeli detainees. The exchange will include the release of 10 living detainees and half of the 36 bodies, totaling 18 bodies.
