US"Peace Plan" - latest news

Earlier, The Telegraph wrote that Trump's"peace plan" is "not disgusting enough" to end the war. It is known that the initial 28-point peace plan required Ukraine to give up its controlled territories in Donbas, but this demand was later softened after negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation in Geneva.

"This is a disgusting proposal, a betrayal of Ukraine and a blow to the international order. But it is almost certainly not disgusting, treasonous or destructive enough to end the war," the publication noted.

At the same time, The Wall Street Journal reported that Putin's reaction to the"peace plan" The US reveals his true goal in Ukraine. In particular, he stated that the fighting will stop only"when Ukrainian troops leave the territories they hold."

"Putin's statements indicate that ultimately the Russian leader wants to strip Ukraine of its sovereignty, restore Moscow's influence over Kyiv, and stop NATO's incursion into a region that Russia considers its sphere of influence. This means that any agreement that does not meet Putin's core goals is a failure," the publication added.
