Tens of thousands are reported to attend an anti-Israel, pro-Palestine protest in London, a day after a ceasefire takes effect in Gaza.

Marchers chant, “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” “Keir Starmer you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide,” and wave Palestinian flags as they walk across the Westminster Bridge to Whitehall.

A counter rally organized by the Stop The Hate group is also held, with counterprotesters waving Israeli flags and blaring loud music.

London police say after counterprotesters breached the rules of their rally, officers intervened to separate the two groups, and a “small number” of people were arrested.
