After her electoral defeat in the province of Buenos Aires, Karina Milei reappeared this Saturday in campaign mode in the district where she fared best electorally, the City of Buenos Aires."El Jefe" was with the libertarian Buenos Aires legislator Pilar Ramírez at the launch of BASES, a space that brings together young people from secondary schools aligned with libertarian ideas who seek to fight in the student centers of the most combative schools.

At the event, held at a party office in the Belgrano neighborhood, the President's sister called for an"end to indoctrination" in schools and universities.

"They have taken over our schools and our culture, conveying the message that freedom was not good. That's why I thank you all for the work you are doing in the universities, in the schools, and in all the places in the country where you are involved in waging this battle," said Karina Milei at the launch event.

In addition to Ramírez, she was also attended by the president of the Libertarian Youth, Dante Di Carlo, and students from the National Buenos Aires School, the Otto Krause Technical School, and the Technical School No. 9 D.E. 7 Ing. Luis Huergo, among others.

Before Karina, Ramírez spoke. Besides being Milei's sister's confidant, she is also the president of LLA in the city and a candidate for national senator alongside Patricia Bullrich.

"Today we take another step on the path to freedom. That path that President Milei began just two years ago and that the Agrupación Bases (Bases Group) is here to consolidate and continue. A space that stands for freedom in the classroom and for freedom from indoctrination," the leader said.

La Libertad Avanza is coming off a severe electoral setback in the province of Buenos Aires. That's why it's looking to return to action and to its outings. The city is where it fared best. On May 18, the Libertarians defeated PRO, which placed third behind Peronism.

It was the first defeat for Mauricio Macri's party in the city in 20 years. Buenos Aires is where the PRO party was born and strengthened, which is why this libertarian victory was so impactful.
