247 - US President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday (13) that Russia will face “severe consequences” if an agreement on Ukraine is not reached after his meeting, scheduled for August 15, with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"There will be very severe consequences," Trump told reporters at the Kennedy Center when asked about measures against Russia if there is no agreement, according to statements released by the Sputnik news agency.
Trump emphasized that he sees the upcoming meeting with Putin as a way to"set the stage for the second meeting," which could also include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
