MET WITH IRAQI PRIME MINISTER AL-SUDANI

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.

President Erdoğan attended the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

Erdoğan received Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on the sidelines of the summit. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director İbrahim Kalın were also present at the reception.

At the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Iraq, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that cooperation with Iraq in the fight against terrorism would continue, that they were working to strengthen relations between Turkey and Iraq in many areas, especially energy, and that the Development Path Project aimed to improve relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the increasingly widespread Israeli aggression is unacceptable, that Israel must be held accountable for its actions before the law, and that Turkey will continue to stand with countries targeted by Israeli aggression.

Our President stated that Turkey will continue its efforts with determination to ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to deliver humanitarian aid.

PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN - SYRIAN PRESIDENT SARA

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Syrian President Ahmed Shara.

Erdoğan met with Sharaa within the scope of the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Syria and regional issues were discussed.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Sharaa's participation in the United Nations General Assembly meeting was of historical importance, that Turkey would continue to support Syria, and that they were working to develop bilateral relations.

Our President stated that Turkey is pursuing steps that will bring together different elements in Syria and that it is important for Syria's unity and solidarity to be preserved and for the SDF to comply with the March 10 agreement.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Intelligence Organization Director İbrahim Kalın accompanied our President at the meeting.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Türkiye following the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

President Erdoğan was seen off by Türkiye's Ambassador to Doha, Mustafa Göksu, and embassy personnel at Hamad International Airport.

President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, MIT Director İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, Presidential Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Health Policies Prof. Dr. Halit Yerebakan also departed for Türkiye.
